By using the TechLife LI website or submitting a service, callback, or buyback request, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Our Services
- We provide doorstep and walk-in repair services for smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops, and smartwatches.
- A free diagnostic assessment is performed before any repair work begins. The final cost is communicated and must be approved by you before work commences.
- We reserve the right to decline a repair if a device is deemed unsafe or irreparable.
- We also offer to purchase old, used, or broken devices ("buyback"). Any buyback offer is an estimate until the device is physically inspected, and final pricing is confirmed at that point.
3. Warranty
Completed repairs carry a 90-day warranty covering the specific repair performed and the parts used. This warranty does not cover:
- New physical, accidental, or liquid damage occurring after the repair.
- Damage caused by any repair or modification performed by a third party after our service.
- Software issues unrelated to the repair performed.
4. No-Fix, No-Fee
If we are unable to repair your device, you will not be charged for labor. Any diagnostic fee, if applicable, will be communicated upfront before work begins.
5. Buyback / Device Purchase Terms
- By submitting a device for buyback, you confirm that you are the rightful owner of the device or have the owner's authorization to sell it.
- You are responsible for removing personal data, accounts, and any device-lock features (such as passcodes or account locks) before sale. We are not responsible for data remaining on a device at the time of sale.
- Final buyback price is confirmed only after physical inspection and may differ from any estimate given over phone, WhatsApp, or this website.
- Once a buyback sale is completed and payment is made, the transaction is final.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- You confirm that you are the rightful owner of any device submitted for repair, or have the owner's authorization.
- You are responsible for backing up your data before handing over your device for repair. We are not liable for data loss during service.
- Devices not collected within 60 days of a completed repair may be disposed of at our discretion.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any repair is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from our services, repair turnaround time, or the unavailability of your device during service.
8. Independent Service Provider
TechLife LI is an independent repair and device-buyback service. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by any device manufacturer. All device names, trademarks, and brand references that may be used in conversation or correspondence belong to their respective owners and are used solely to identify the device being serviced or purchased.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
